WATERWORKS
WATER – WORKS
≈
Standing
under the shower,
Whatever, the
hour
Bare, of any cover
Cleansing,
is so natural
Cleansing
is a must
For,
you too I trust
≈
Standing
under the water
Warm
sensuous water
Cascading
over my body
Fabulous
– feels like silk
The
Earth Mothers milk
≈
Bathing
is fine;
I just love to take my time
Getting
into a warm tub
It’s
like getting a big hug
Relaxing
and chilling
In
a big pool
Now that’s really cool
≈
Raindrops
is falling on my head
Oh
make it stop, Turn off the Tap
I
woke up with a start
I
had fallen asleep in the bath
≈
Too
long- soaking in the tub
Time
for a good scrub
Give
thanks for water
A
vital spice to life
Liquid space too precious to waste
≈
Too
many uses to calculate
Washing
up – washing down
Heating up -cooling down
Watering
the ground
≈
Swimming
and splashing in water
Children
screaming with shouts and laughter
Water
is fun, water is great
However,
a powerful force
Never
underestimate
≈
With
churning currents that will take you under
Rapid
Torrents that can rip you asunder
Added
to which, noises like thunder
Pelting
rain, overflowing drain
Dam-busting
on a flood plain
≈
Or
anglers hooks by gurgling brooks
River
roads, Streams of life
Waterfalls
from up on high
Cloud
drops from the sky
≈
Gentle showers to refresh the flowers
Seeds
that need to germinate
Both
Fauna and Flora proliferate
And,
propagate
≈
Like dewdrops and teardrops
Tastefully
tasteless
But
thirst quenchable and drinkable
It
will always be number one on my table.
